Annnnd ... we're out.

Even this farmland is exciting to me ... ! I never knew how much I loved pavement!

Making our way out ...

Holy crumbscakes ... I'm not so sure about this adventuring business. Of course on a selfish point ... I am trying to take pictures ... in which the jeep doesn't stop moving ... which really might be a good thing ..

And I

Just take pictures of little waterfalls ... without something stable beneath the camera, so they are blurry waterfalls ... but thats ok ... it has the same reference to life all the same ... eventually everything becomes blurry.

But then ...

The two of them find things like these fossil rock thingys ... which are clearly really kinda old cause they are fossils and all ... and this is a lake, which I think was once all glacier ... and these are shell like looking items. I would have to consult people of extensive knowledge .. which I do not know of ... but kind of cool these fossils are!

Uhmm ...

The husbandman and the pipster like this sort of traveling ... down creek beds and forests that really don't see the light of day ... all to get to these sorts of places.

These two are:

Crazy in love with this jeeping.... so much so ... they find rock fragments to proove it.

Looking good ...

At all angles ...

Rolling views

I agreed to going with the husbandman and the pipster out for a ride on Saturday ... it was all good .. with the exception of these tight little trails that we rode through ... that were filled with rocks and tree stumps, but they call this fun ... so I went with it ... for the most part all the pictures captured were taken along the way ... so I was doing my best to capture what I could by continuously adjusting my settings ... cause I don't want to be a green zone girl any longer.

Now this is news worthy

First bear of the season ... down the road, in the field, with clear evidence that he has been wondering throughout our location ... hence the backyard deposit behind the fence.
 Taken at 6:53 PM ISO 5000 1/50 s f/6.3 (blur)

Photo shoot ... or not

Here's the one photo I took. That's it, over the course of 2.5 hours. That's a lot of learning .. just wish I could remember it all.

Up close, and in the face of "the jimmy" ... using the widest focal range at the closest possible point ... yes this method works well on the subjects.

This time I used the approach that these things wouldn't mind if I made them sit for extended periods as I fiddled with isos and flirted in moderate disaster with aperture.

Back to things more important:

I went to a photography course.

Very interesting.

I didn't move for three hours.

I took two pictures.

I was completely amazed at how much I learned.

Very happy with my groupon purchase.

Hopefully now I can take that learning, and put it into picture taking.

BUT only maybe.

For the time-being, I have taken about 300 pictures of mini muffins that the Pipster baked up the other night. She is just so convenient at times.

However ... I still do not think that I am happy with the photograph. I guess it's like shopping for toothpaste ... every box has a unique and incredible addage to it ... similar to the pictures that I took. Hmmm.

I will delete before I download.

The sun is out. I will make great attempts to throw myself into the middle of it, for many hours, endless hours actually. I will have to be careful to not obsessively walk around the block looking for shiney things .....

On that note ... the diamond thing may well be solved .. I took the ring to two jewelers ... the first guy that made my wedding band, and the second guy that was intrigingly persuasive, almost con artist like. That's pretty bad to say .. but guess what .. I'm thinking that I might just take my ring back for his business, cause the other guy didn't offer me as much information .. AND this guy was left handed. Yes, a judgement call based on the handedness of a human. It boils down to instinct. If anyone gets that out there in the big wide world.

I need to renovate my front yard. I wish I had the momentum to do it. I need a plan. I have the frenzied energy, but I am uncertain about the plan of where to put things. It's a shame cause things look kind of quaint .. and I am going to uproot it all. ... but it is the perfect time to be digging up my front yard, as now that we have cleaned out the 15 tons of moss and malingerers of moss ... I can make some garden paths ... if I wait much longer the heat will arrive (OK being completely optimistic) .... which will make it hard for the plants to have any luck at survival ... unsure as of this moment .

Still staring at the cavernous hole in my ring and can't help but wonder where in the world is that diamond ... cause I am sure it is around .. as I heard something fall, but that could just be me hearing rocks whip across the kitchen floor, or the constant clattering in my head. Unsure of which it really is.

Oh .. .and back to interesting again ... my post about spring will have to edited again ... I have taken my camera settings off of raw .. which I don't think I really intended it for to be on .. BECAUSE while I can see them ... they just can't be uploaded for your viewing.. not that they were great pictures .. I am still waiting for those myself.

OH and even more exciting things ... I ran into some neighbours who told me that they spotted a bear in the field the evening before ... now that is really back to something important!

Intrigue ...

at it's finest.

Wouldn't it be interesting that only LESS than one week after spending twenty years together ... that the towel has been thrown in.

End of the road.

Good night Charlie.

See you ... foreva.

Yes folks ... my DIAMOND from my WEDDING ring is GONE!

Just called the hubandman ... he told me he would bring me home a piece of tempered glass in it's place.

Cause .. we love one another!

Lucky number 13

Really ... !

I guess it is ... maybe sort of.

When the building that I work in was being contructed ... they omitted the room "213" do to superstition. They really did.

Somehow I missed the superstition memo.

And got myself married on the 13th.

Of April.

Twenty years ago.

spring take 54

Spring. Kind of. What a break. Absolutely.

It's a new day ...

Sounds like a gospel kind of read ...

Or some sort of prayer ...

Even a lead up to a great speech of some form.

It's not.

It is a wish to congratulate my friend on her last day of CHEMO.

It is a wish for another person close to me, a day of healing before her chemo can begin.

It is a silent wish for my mr gramerica to somehow make amends.

It is a point where the journey of HOPE continues.

holy grahamcrackers

there's something brewing.

And it's not coffee.

Here's your two by four back, I'm done being smacked in the side of the head with it.

I want to know how a two week 'SPRINGBREAK' turns into a complete nightmare in a few short hours while back to school?

Not sure as to how all the craziness happened ... but I think the Jimmy might have just put someone out on stress leave. It's a maybe on that, but holy grahamwafers cheesewillickers there has been some earth shattering ear drum blowing things going on behind the educational walls.

Really ... but it was just spring break ... and "the jimmy" was milling around, doing "Jimmy" like things ... like sprinting up and down our massive hallway that one could have in a 1365 square foot house, looking like a gazel, so much so, that we just started calling him "gazelion". ... and now he is sitting in the VP's office working on schoolwork ... or maybe he is .. I'm just not sure. I dropped him off this morning, and asked myson myson who the fellow on the phone was, standing outside of the school .. and that was the very man that was waiting for him.

Who knows what today will bring ... maybe a straight jacket, duct tape, police cars ... who knows.

5 weeks.

worth of posts.

Now we have moved into April.

It's a new month, so I will try again.

I have not been this deficient since before blogging.

Even picture taking has come to a dramatic standstill.

BUT ... the bears are awake, and the days are longer ...

So .. some sightseeing is available to me.

The neighbours chopped the cherry tree.

It looks strange to look out and see more grey cloud than normal.

I miss the crows, blue jays and squirrels.

Interesting that they didn't have the ONE dead tree in the backyard removed.

BUT who am I ... ? with the 20 overgrown and scarey BUT alive trees in my backyard ... ?

In other things....

Have contacted all these strangers to do a walk for cancer campaign ... am still waiting for people to call me back .. now that we are 4 days into the campaign.

Will have to do that again this afternoon ... call and leave messages.

Cause I have lots of time.

ON that note ...
