I boiled the kettle awhile ago... it's a tea kind of morning... I am still waiting for it to arrive by the imaginary maid person... who hopefully will do the vacuuming later on..... while I sit idly by... reading a book, because perhaps with no movement I can get rid of the FREAKING FUDGEMASTER headache that I have somehow acquired. I think it may be caused by the build up of good karma floating about me, and I can't take it......
..... it took everything I had to go to the PAC meeting last night... I first went to the bears for their help... but none were there, so I had to head back to the school... and sit on a hard chair in the library. This was fine, except that it hurt to sit... but nobody needed to know that .... I hope nobody noticed the crossed eyes. Eventually I got tired of sitting and stood up and leaned against the library shelf... that was next to an open door... all the people wanted to know if I was having hot flashes... since some of them apparantley were.. but I didn't know that... not me. I just wanted to stand... it made listening to whatever people talked about easier..... and then I decided that I needed a drink... and promptly tripped over an outlet... I was the classy guest last evening.......
But I have to say... the effort was worth it... because I happily voted in new people to do the jobs of whatever I was doing, and hold the formal title of Vice President. I hope the next person knows what she will have to do... because I never did.... or perhaps I chose not to do anything... anyways.... I'm done, and that's all that matters.
Where is my tea??.... good help is hard to find, now I am going to have to boil the kettle again.... and go make it myself..... perhaps the 1300 mgs of Tylenol Extended Release tabs could START WORKING RIGHT NOW... and that would make things easier.....
And finally..... to my friends who were confused about the clouds... you are right, we had no clouds the other day... but if you were reading very carefully to these words of good works, and pure magneticness, which keeps you coming back for more... you would have read that my photo thing was not working.......... so, that was my little grouping of my study of clouds... which happened probably two weeks ago... hopefully you are feeling sane again... because I know that worried you!!!!! Cheers Lou!

Silence of the rain.
It is quite warm outside, even though the clouds have rolled in... and it is now pouring. Today would be the day that I like to hear the rain fall... it's a pleasing constant sound, and for now I like it... I am not certain I will have the same feelings tomorrow when I am trying to accomplish big things. But as luck would have it....I have some place to be tonight... a secret society ... filled with crazy people. I fit right in. I am quite happy to report that it is the last PAC meeting of the year... and I will never have to go to another one... if I don't feel like it... and that is a pleasing thought~! I would not have gone to the one tonight if my friend had not reminded me of tonight's activities... so out of guilt/clean conscience I have to go. It is not so bad... they serve alcohol on the last nights meeting.. so that is worth the effort... although...last evening as we were drinking and calling it scrapbooking... I drank some lovely red wine... my hands swoll up.... but I had to drink it to the last drop... just to be sure that it really was the wine causing this annoying freakish event..I will go with something different tonight.
Meanwhile it is raining, and now I must go to the meeting of the minds. HA!

I'm a liar.
I just wrote to someone and told them that I wouldn't be writing anything for today... since the day is almost done... but then, I changed my mind... am I now a liar....?
This will have to be brief... it has to be... I have to make this short, as it is at the end of the day and I have never made it here.....until now......
The quick thoughts of the day are:
This will have to be brief... it has to be... I have to make this short, as it is at the end of the day and I have never made it here.....until now......
The quick thoughts of the day are:
- You wouldn't want to be the daughter of the woman who knows to much on this day. Not at all.. I am frightened myself. But, a tough lesson was learned today by the daughter of the woman who knows too much... which at the end of the day the daughter had to face The Boy and apologize for her evil and uncalled for behaviour in writing....and then read it to him.... while the mother who knows too much stood by.... it was actually very heartwrenching... but the mother who knows too much also knows very much what it is liked to be teased and ridiculed for being nothing more than herself... and her daughter turned into an evil ridicular to The Boy for his lack of ability in one of the sports days events today....I felt very bad for the daughter of the mother who knows too much... hopefully this will be a very good lesson for the daughter today. My boy being "a boy" had treated it like water under the bridge, but in the end he said that he was glad that the daughter of the woman who knows too much had apologized... he said he felt very little today after this episode... and he's the tallest boy in the class.
- Sports days were not invented for 10 and 11 year olds to compete indoors.... this much excitement creates too much drama... and I am most surprised that it was allowed to occur by the teacher that has a good handle on this class. I was disturbed and surprised.
- I don't believe that tears are a part of sports day... but I saw a lot of them today.
- Included in the tearful event was the lady Pipster... apparently she wasn't doing things right.... I gave her a hug and a hotdog... then a Tropicana Twister, then a bag of ketchup chips, and a Twizzler.... then she sat at her desk, in front of a girl with very long hair who is also left handed... and said HI. Big steps for the Pip...the long haired left handed girl then gave her some jelly beans... all was good again in Pips world.
- I was of no use to the people that aid in the sports day events... the set up, and clean up of snacks and hotdogs. I instead took pictures of my children at sports day... what an awkward image... able, and yet unwilling hands wandering aimlessly through the halls.
- The Pip went to a birthday party after school... very nice indeed... she doesn't get invited to actual classroom people's parties... just the girls from the street parties.. anyways... I was ever so thankful that some other mom was going to be considered "mean".. because she told some certain kids to stop fighting, and stop running in the house... she thanked the Pip and the mighty J-meister from across the street for behaving nicely at the birthday party....Yae Pip & J-meister!!!!! When all is said and done.... you just want to know that your kids are polite... ! Unlike one of the crazy kids that opens her bag of goodies... then yells that she doesn't like the colour orange.... see, that mother wasn't so mean after all.... because she traded the colours... I would have taken the whole bag away... and said that to the girl... there, now you don't need to dislike it, because you don't have it.
- That's no lie.
There's more, but that's the day.. now I must talk to people...

It's going to be a long one...
Yes, it's going to be a long night... how about these circumstances....I am going to need a freaking medal by the am... if I make it that long.
So, the story goes like this......
Earlier I see the remote sitting on the little antiquey dresser that the husbandman finished many moons ago. It's just sitting there... all ignored and batteryless. This didn't look good to me, but I reserved judgement or comments and questions... I was hoping to avoid the whole conversation about THE CONTROLLER... in the event that it had just been momentarily forgotten...sadly, it had not.
Mr. Husbandman in his show-off patiently ways tried to get the controller to control once again. He fiddled and faddled and wobbled and whooped... it looked to him that this controller was hooped. He had layed it to rest on the antiquey dresser.
THE TELEVISION SET WAS NOW BROKEN. Because we all know that once THE CONTROLLER is down for the count, the TV is no longer a functionable relaxation agent any longer.
Mr. Noncontrollerfixing husbandman left the room for more comfortable pillows and a remote that worked. He then fell asleep...... and, as I have written before.. he sleeps too loud for me.
Now I am trapped here.... I have no place to go, nothing to watch, no reruns of CSI to fixate on.... I am not certain how I am going to make it through the night.. I mean I can't actually TOUCH the television.. I mean, do fingers actually touch televisions these days.. I could probably put it into instant melt-down mode... while I am busy trying to sleep, or something weird like that.
I will have to sit here all night, and watch the words hit the screen far to slow than my fingers are typing... and that is just so not fun... I hate being three words ahead and then see a transposed letter... I can't stand all the backspacing.. I just don't backspace.. I am more of a complete delete kind of girl... so it's just going to work her for me either....
I must go make THE CONTROLLER work for me.... I must go and control the controller.

How could I forget....
With so much hype and hysteria about the things that I didn't do.. I forgot to mention what I did do.... I did manage to witness the last night of baseball...although I did keep sending messages out to the people who's email addresses I could remember on my phone... sorry to those that have very easy addresses that this brain is capable of remembering... because clearly it doesn't remember things like appointments... (HA!)
Yes... it was ever so sad to think that I would not have to spend another evening running from TKD to the ballpark for another night, just to watch my super son play baseball with bugs... when he wasn't actually playing the game baseball... or out standing in the field....
How could I have forgotten that important piece of information???...

How could I have forgotten that important piece of information???...
I'm all over that...
So.. in an effort to keep peace with the world, I am going to have to take this DAYTIMER thing a big more seriously, like use one.
I forgot to do a couple of things... like go to the orthodontist for some 45 minute appointment. I did not get a birthday gift like I had planned. Right.. while I was at Costco collecting dogfood, I should have probably collected some human food as well. Missed the boat on not cutting the grass today... as tomorrow promises to be a day that the sky opens up, and pours in delight. I might have just forgot a teency bit that it is Father's Day on Sunday.. and I should be on the lookout for a gift for The King.. since he is a nice guy after all, and I better hurry whippity-whip. Although this is the first year I do not have a father myself to buy for...I have made a personal commitment to do something that I always would do for Russ, the fellow who had everything... except the new book that I gave him on every occasion... so I have to go buy a book... of some sort to fulfill that promise. Oh, and on the school front.. I didn't sign up to help with the sports day... so now I have no place to be, except with the expectation that I will be their to help.. damn on that one. And.. the last one... I forgot to give myself the best mother award... because as Mr. Husbandman is busy sleeping down the hallway (the remote in the den is broken, therefore the television no longer works.. and he fiddled with the remote, and I have to admit, most things he fiddles with he makes them work....)... the children are both busy reading in their rooms... nice.. The Pip told me just couldn't sleep, but thought that looking at beautiful barbies in her Barbie through the ages book would help lull her to sleep.. the boy on the other hand is re-reading his millions of mad magazines... and insisting that he shouldn't sleep... he has too many things to do. I have no idea who he takes after....
So... on that loser front of a day... it's 11:00 PM... the people and furry creatures are all busily sleeping... and now I have this big bright screen staring at me... I must find some more material.... I must.....

Odd jobs....
Just want to let those that are contemplating the following same things, that it is safe... you may be viewed sideways by the people that surround you.. but these actions are safe.
- The back deck needed some attention.. with all this rain and cloud and coldness I don't seem to make it out there much... so I thought it was important to get the cement deck cleaned up ... with the shop vac. It all makes good sense to me. The great outdoors... freshly vacuumed.
- It is safe to get your hair cut at great clips.... especially with a coupon for $7.99... now that's a deal and half.... and my hair is none the wiser.... it doesn't know that I didn't spend $72.50 for a 1/2 hour hair cut and a chat with someone with some foriegn accent and hands that flip. The hair seems to be taking it all in stride.
- Talk to your dog like she is human, and wait for her to answer. I had a complete and total conversation with the Little Miss Ellpee earlier this afternoon, she was silent on some issuess, but wagged her tail in certain delight when I spoke on other topics like: dinner, biscuits, balls and crackers.
- Although it's great to clean out your bathroom... it's best not to use the bleach in combination with dark pants.... that goes for the same as not cutting your beautiful green lawn with your new white runners.... it is just not safe.....
- And... it's polite to let the Teen Tina (babysitter girl next door) know that you are going to blow if the bag of soil that you are trying to carry will implode before it reaches the desired location... especially if she is sitting with a certain species called a friend.
Things from yesterday...
My list is too long... of things for today, and things to say... of course things to say wins over the things for today list... because that will just keep growing without me knowing anyways.. but if I don't start writing down the things to say... I am just going to lose it..as in the brain, not from a wild outburst.. I will wait to do that while I am waiting in the line up at Costco.. because that is where I should be heading right now, rather than typing this. Although, I was supposed to go to Costco yesterday... and couldn't remember the reason why.. I couldn't figure it out, I thought I had just created a little make-work project or me... eventually I made it home, opened the front door... and who greeted me, non other than little Miss Ellpee... Ahh... right ... how could I forget she was the reason for the Costco run... well, her dog food that is.. anyways.. on to bigger bolder stories about nothing....
It has to be in list form... I don't want to go on any longer than my allotted time that I have set for myself.... so these fingers better snap quickly and correctly if they plan on delivering the material...

- The boy showed me his math test... at the very last second before we headed to school... he had gotten 4/12. I wrote on the bottom... "Excellent work young son.. out of the four questions you did, you got four questions right... you are brilliant". That put a smile on his face.... he is terrified of numbers... and where he can throw a song, a poem and a story together before someone can even spell out a title, he has a rather complicated pathway to retrieve math information, all that crissing and crossing of the hemispheres and things .... he gets it.... he is just .... very ....... slow. I am not certain that his lovely teacher gets that.
- I gave a woman a card yesterday that I have only seen for one hour a week on Wednesdays.. and will never see again... she is moving back to her homeland in the USA... but I was just so touched by her person.. that I gave her a card... and I'm not a very cardly person....is there rules for this sort of stuff?...
- Two things... can you really have toomuch Vitamin B, and coffee? I think I had galaxies colliding yesterday with this concoction.... an interesting way to be... excited, but calm... energized but not crazy-eyed... that sort of thing.
- The Pip amazed me the other day by grabbing a pair of scissors, some lime green paper and a stapler.... and there she created a purse, and a wallet, and some beautiful money... and what would a purse be without a cell phone... loved the cell phone... and it was a compact cell....in a matter of moments... oh, and also a beautiful fan, with a scribbly design. This all took place while wearing her blue gown...
- I bought some new sunglasses last week... the nice inexpensive kind.. because I wouldn't know what to do with expensive ones.. they would still end up lost or sat on... anyways... cheap sunglasses are the best... especially when you notice that one of your eyebrows are higher than the other one....I just kept bending until my eyebrows were even...
- And... since I am running out of time... one last item of interest from yesterday... is it bad to pull out absolutely perfect uneaten bananas from the garbage... because that is what I did... I could not believe my eyes.. .the skins on these things were screaming that sound... EAT ME... I'M RIPE...!!!!... yes people, my bananas speak to me... I then walked the two bananas to my green waste container, looked at them longingly, then locked them in up tight.. for fear that I may try and open the lid again... where they will now sit and rot with the rest of the rotting things... COMPLETE SADNESS I say.. complete!

A brief note of news
I have a list of notes to publish.. except that I don't have more than moment to write something of extreme interest and value.... I won't keep the millions in suspense for that long... I present these few details of happiness and delight:
Earlier as I was happily (!!!) on my way to collect both the chicklets from the schooling event... I saw an interesting sight. It involved a crosswalk, and a bananaman..... need I say more.
OH, and The Pip has discovered magic, all due to the flu-stricken teacher that has sent in a mad scientist for a replacement... as I type the Pip is now happily stuffing pencils through plastic bags full of water, and begging me for a potatoe for whatever reason, and pennies are not flying as they should be flying, but the papers that are beneath the non-flying pennies are flying everywhere... must go...

I best not start....
If anyone wishes to check their memories.... it was just last week that I was blissfully writing of missed PAC meetings... and feeling all gleeful about appallingly doing such a thing. Apparantley I was not so appalling, it was cancelled... which was something that I did not know. Since my sister did not call before the school hours had started, I did however manage to attends todays PAC meeting for the lovely little school, and found out of some appalling incidences which have occured at the school. I describe the incidences as appalling, but they were in fact not... it was the manner in which they were NOT handled that was appalling.. so an answer to a question about the leadership at our little school, I have changed my mind totally on the leadership, communication and delegation that is demonstrated at the school. Someone who should behave like a captain, really is just a carpet sweeper, who talks too much about very little.
And in other nonsense that keeps me taking double doses of Vitamin B Complexes... I was at The Dairy Queen last evening to get the boy an icecream, which he mistakenly complained that he was only going to get a dipped cone rather than the blizzard that he wanted. Of course by this point I had just passed my Mr. Downandout, and passed him by, which gave me cause for concern.... as the boy whimpered about a medium cone. Which became the extreme in lecturing about being thankful for ALL THE LITTLE THINGS IN LIFE THAT WE ARE GIVEN, OR NOT GIVEN... JUST BE FREAKING THANKFUL... I had to tame it down a bit since we were standing in the line-up, and some of his team-mates had the same icecream ideas... and this line-up was no line-up, but a very painful waiting procedure, because people just continued to walk up to the counter, and the 3 young people behind the counter just kept serving them... which made me stare at the people that kept approaching the counter... as in..."that's right, I am here to look at the signs above us, and take up space...", this only excited my already Type-Aish personality. Anyways... worlds did not collide because I had to wait an added 12 1/2 minutes for one medium cone, and one wide-eyed tight lipped frightened now thankful boy... but what irritated the absolute shit out of me was the fact that crazy bear could have been out wondering the back streets of Minnekhada.... and I was missing it all. I almost had to make it 3 vitamin b complexes...

This is what ...
happened the other day.... nothing of too much great excitement... but I will have to recount the small non-event for my own remembering purposes. Not only does this space serve as a place for me to exercise my fingers, it also gives me opportunity to preserve some memories of incidents that will be quickly forgotten by life alone.
I was checking my messages the other day.. and I know that the sister was now off work..... and sure enough like the sun hanging in the sky as we always know it to be, the sister had left a message on the machine.... "HI!, I haven't talked to you in a while..... just calling you up to see what you are doing.... ". I fearfully called her back... I was not certain of her actions.. and I figured if I kept her on the phone, rather than let her in my home... my life would be safe. AND.. ... it should be documented that I went up to her beautiful flowered up home... I haven't been up there since she had DRAGGED me to every garden store on this side of the Pacific Ocean... it was truely a lovely sight.
In other events... I came across a man the other day that suddenly became unwell. I wondered if he was having a heart attack, or a stroke, or just throwing a fit. When you yell AAAHHHH, and clutch your chest.. it really made me wonder which out of the 3 it could have been.
The King brought Princess Silly (this would be the dog Ellpee that I speak of, not to be confused by the other Princess Silly... The Pipster).. to the ball game last evening, yes, another ballgame. I really thought that I liked baseball... that was a huge misconception... I like baseball, on the 3rd baseline, with someone that plays the organ at the seventh inning... oh, that's the kind of baseball that I like. Anyways.... Princess Silly also had her fine foldout lawnchair for her furry body to rest on... but that wasn't good enough for this little dog. She positioned herself infront of the king, with her bottom facing towards the ball field... which is quite effective in for fending off fowl balls and overthrows heading to first base. She didn't get her name Princess Silly for nothing.
I have become a stalker.... I stalk my "buddy"... Mr Downandout while I am driving the streets of downtown PoCo... and if I see him I try and stop.... I saw him last night, in the rearview... he had his big pink blanket with him... and was not pushing his shopping cart. Hopefully I can stalk him on Thursday when I will be back in downtown PoCo... and who knows what I will give him next... I will wait for that myself.
AAANNNDDDD..... somehow, somewhere, sometime, someone installed the new version of hello onto this computer, which I have been ignoring for some time... because I have the older version of hello, and installed the new version once, and it know longer worked.... which is where I am again... which is why my study in clouds has not been posted, nor any other forms of digital life has unfolded here... so if I am pictureless for a while, it is because hello wont sign me in, and wont connect me, even when it tells me I am already a USER... and I didn't even know I was a USER... I learn something new everyday...

The field trip....
Wish us luck, we are traveling today on a field trip, on a bus, with lots of CHILDREN, where some of the ages max out at 5. It's all too scary for me, and I am not sure what I have gotten myself into.
Some people... not naming the fellow from across the street... has been blindsided into attending this festive childrenry event... I will now spend the next couple of weeks watching him do his out door chores with a nagging tick that will annoy his head... will detail the accounts as it happens.
IN other reasons why I should be scared about this day.. I am going to have to spend time on a big yellow bus with children that are loud, and whiney and annoying, oh, that list includes some adults too. My head is going to split by the end of the day... I can just feel the head-ache creeping in. ON that note, I will vitamin up, and bring some lovely pain-removing Tylenol Tablets for my own personal enjoyment... if anything happens beyond that.. I am doomed.
Well.. looking at the weather, rain is a possibility... head-ache and cold.... I am wondering why I am not running in the other direction..... it's all because... "you do it for the kids"... right.. I so get that...
I best go if I plan on being on time for the great event... I am bringing the loudest whiniest kid ever but speaks at 20 decibels higher than everyone else in the world to school with me... and he is already psyched for the event... so that should be a good start. He's cute really... if you were to put him in a sound proof container.... I think.
I have powered up the chargeable batteries for the digital camera.. so I should have some pictures of something later today... I did the same for the boys field trip 2 years ago... and I took some great little pictures of him.. and then scrap booked them at the Debbie's Scrapbooking Extravaganza Event.. down the street in her basement.. so I am hoping for some same shots of the Princess Pip doing Pippish things.... THAT'S PIPPY-ISH.....and hopefully once the Debbie on my side of the street STOPS painting her whole freaking house, and more RENOVATIONS that clearly can not make it to my house... perhaps I will scrapbook the Pip's events from today... all going well I don't throw my lovely digital camera at someone's very loud mouth... let's just hope that ....I could be doomed from the beginning. I am already rethinking my steps for next years field trip yeses.... LET ME SEE THE GUEST LIST FIRST....... I have to save myself somehow.

The best and the worst...
Today was a fine day... for those that enjoyed their day that is. The boy enjoyed his day very much, and I am most impressed at how he conducts himself in a crowd of older adults. The boy also performed some of his piano music for the gang... and managed nicely to pull it off. I wish I would have had that much of a gift at his age.
The boy's sister had a way less enjoyable day.. way less. Princess Pip had a difficult day with most of the people today... tall and short. Poor Pip.... I had to remind her that we were not conspiring against her... although of course that is not what came out of her brother's mouth, but she doesn't need to know that. My Pip.... I just had to hug the girl after school... I can't stand tears in the parking lot...her brother then wanted to know what pool she had just been visiting. By the time we left the parking lot Pip was in a more pleasant mood, and besides we were off to go bear hunting, which always puts a smile back on Pips face. And that's a good thing.
I'll be back... with an unknown amount of stories...or even a guarantee that there will be a story, they are exploding out of my head and I am forgeting to document, but I have been pre-occupied with life damn it... can you imagine..... but I have to come up with about a billion and three words since I have been lacking lately....

Just about the end
Not for me.. at least I hope not that is. But this is the week for the great big end to everything. That is nice.
In the meantime.. I am searching for the magic that is going to keep the children exiting their beds in the morning.. although this very morning, I mentioned to the boy that he was going to accompany me to my group... and like a piece of magic there was The PIP standing next to me. Tomorrow is already taken care of... it's a field trip.. and The Pipster is already excited.
Speaking about the end... the baseball is a never ending ball game... really. I mean really really. There is still TWO weeks left until the end is officially the end.
In other endings.. I may have just ended a moles life... and that is all oogy-schmoogey, not my intention at all...but there was a very long raised trail travelling through my front yard... so I went and gentley stomped it down.. if you can be a gentle stomper that is... I am wondering if that's where the saying "gentle giant" comes from... ??
And in other endings with no endings.... is the amount of laundry that is still on top of the washer.., if someone can see and ending in that... would you let me know... someone must have a secret to that.... and I don't want that silly thing called "housekeeper" and "you" attached to that answer.

One more tidbit....
It's a rather colourful tidbit of info:
- Pipsters turn pink when you put them in hot water. How the water got hot.. I don't know, and how the Pip didn't know, I don't know that either! The hair washing event did not occur do to Pip's pinkness, so the blondness will remain dull for another day.
- Blue Sambuca is really really delicious. ... it's like sipping on a piece of melted black licorice that has turned blue... lovely.
- You have to appreciated Mother Nature's attempt at making grey clouds look beautiful.. because they did earlier this evening...I have some pictures to proove it.... which may appear tomorrow.. when I will be needing to do things, rather than doing things here.
- I didn't see crazy bear... anywhere, or where or where is our crazy bear, I didn't see him here and I didn't see him there... where or where is our crazy bear? I'm becoming desperate.. although I did see something dark in the field... but it wasn't moving swift enough for crazy bear standards... I am going into withdrawal.
Can you believe the time?
I was at work today, as I am every Saturday... for the past 8 years actually.... and I can not believe where the day went.. but it did go... and here I am writing useles details of the day.... I have neatly tucked the girl in the bath-tub... as she is growly today... and not by me knowing anything... Mr. Supertidyiing-husbandman has told me so. But now that I am home... she is all sparkly and agreeable... even agreeable enough to go sit in the bath, and hopefully get those blond locks of hers washed... and she is never agreeable to that... NEVER!!!!! I believe that little Pipster loves me ... I really do!
The boys have left the homestead for the video store... I can't believe how quick they are... now they are back... let the noise begin.. it has been momentarily peaceful... and now it is not. Mr. Husbandman will remain his silent self, and a smile will be brought to his face when I tell him that I am leaving him... but it will soon turn to sadness when I continue to tell him that it is not forever.... so stop that wishful thinking.
Must run.... the Pip has decided that her bath-time is over.. and her hair is still dry... must run before the monster emerges from deep within!!!!!

Here I am.
Feeling lost, unable to get on with your day? Waiting for something, but not sure what it is? Hoping for some words to take you away from the details of life, or keep you from the boring tasks that you will eventually have to do anyways....
WELL... OFF YOU GO THEN....!!!OFF YOU GO... GET... ! SCAT.....!
I am collecting my stories at the moment... and will be back tomorrow, when I too will be looking for other things to do, rather than the things I should be doing....

One, one and two....
We have one more session of gymnastics to go... and the goal that I had made for the lady Pip was that she had to be able to do a cart wheel at the end of the gymnastics season... we have more or less reached that goal.. Miss Pip does most things with her own flair... and I have now renamed the cartwheel... a cartplunk... this is what my Pip has achieved... and it looks absolutely amazing... she poses, then points, then plants, then plunks.... down onto both knees, rather hard. But she looks good at this new style of cartplunking.. hopefully it will catch on for the competitive side of gymnastics for next year.
The Boy has had his last piano lesson with the most amazing lady I have ever met. And, the most important thing about having a truely awesome piano teacher, is that she loves plants.. so I like her even more... not only is she amazing with the boy, she builds a beautiful garden to surround the homestead.. almost like goldie locks... because she is blond, and there are certainly enough bears around to collect porridge on any given day. My boy ages by 10 years when he is tranplanted into her home for 30 minutes.. the normal goofy and funny kid... turns into this serious piano playing Shroeder character... and the moment he leaves her spell, she returns him to me... a goofy but lovely non-listening boy....I want to know her magic.. and I want some of it... FOR THE GIRL!
Two more weeks.. until school is out, done and gone. Another school year has whipped by... and I am not sure when it snuck past me... except for the million times that we couldn't find planners, or sign planners, or remember to put planners in backpacks... that has been a long drawn out issue... with just two weeks left of school the Pip announces to me that it is very important to have her planner... VERY IMPORTANT.... because people in her group are starting to talk... that she is plannerless... The secret part to the whole story... is that Pip has had that smelly planner (2nd week into september her orange juice container leaked all over her planner... nothing that a heater vent couldn't fix... but over time... it's just a little ripe!) the whole time... it lives in her backpack, with who knows what else is living in there with it.

A list, a comment, and a come-clean
The list..... I am worried for the Bananaman... he's crossing when he shouldn't be crossing.. I almost had to get out and yell at a man in the truck the other day.... as he came up behind the Bananaman on the street... CLEARLY... you can see that there's something up with a fellow that is crossing slowly and diagnally across the street...."HAVE SOME FREAKING COMPASSION... THIS COULD BE YOU SOMEDAY!!".... the next time I see that truck or any vehicle... that is what I will say... be careful... this is the only warning. More on the list.... that housekeeper that I have been wishing for has not arrived out of thin air... and each time I pass by a mirror, I believe that it's her... but she looks like me.... I am waiting for the magic. Oh.... and if the dream interpreters could step up... feel free.....OMG.... talk of nightmares... that was me, last night, or early this morning..... feel free to cringe, squint, or passover this part... because these are the parts that I remember.... '"readers discretion is advised"....
I was at work... doing my things that I do at work... when one of the nurses needed a hand lifting a patient... and since some days my job description is vague at the best of times... I offered a helping hand.. not that I do that... but there was no one else... and I didn't mind.... OK,... HERE'S THE YUCK..).... the fellow in the bed had had open heart surgery...that had clearly gone wrong, he had a wound infection, which left his sternum open.. (imagine a slice down the centre of your chest)... and somehow through the space of time.. he had pulled out all the packing which left the insides exposed... and it gets grosser.... for some reason... he had also had abdominal surgery.. and that had gone wrong... he also had a catheter in... but for some reason, we could see inside his lower abdomen.. he was hollow, and you could see his pelvis and his spine. When we moved him in the bed the tube that holds all the urine broke apart, then filled up his abdomen, and sloshed about. Oh, how pleasant an image was that?... just had to share it... because I woke up.. and clearly couldn't shut my eyes after that.... so I got up and watched CSI...Las Vegas... and clearly I was much happier.... So... I would like to thank the sis for recounting her story from work the other day about a patient.. and one of the Debbie's for the water that is sloshing about beyond her sub-floor.. and my friend at work... telling me all about the goings on of open chests on the ward... I can't imagine why I dream the things I dream.
A comment.... it shouldn't be raining today.. I have outside details to busy myself with, plus I have to put together a version of "Name That Tune" for my group on Monday. The sis then pipes up and wanted me to take her boy to speech... because she wanted to do outside things, since I wasn't going to, since she has a freaking garden store still sitting in the back of her van... she has problems... with flowers, and bark mulch and barrels, and grasses and perennials, and mushroom manure, and a none existant budget when it comes to garden stores.... she's crazy, (!!!)... but nothing that I would tell anybody about...... My answer to her: "thanks, but I have done my time...."
I fear for my life with the voodoo sister of mine... if I say NO to her whims.. I wouldn't want to feel her voodooness a second time around.... (thinking back to the voo-doo truths that I spoke of before....) I will walk very quietly for a while....
Now the come clean... the sister stalker called early this am... and spoke to the boy... she claimed to be his favourite aunt.. he paused a moment to consider that fact.... no doubt that she is.. but it's fun to make her think otherwise. Anyways... she needed my immediate assistance... and she had my morning all planned for me... because I am clearly useless at organizing my very own life. ... The truth be told that is. She needed me to help her load up the bark mulch... so of course I agreed with her....because how can I not... ? Anyways... as I attempted to get the girl to quicken her pace of readiness for school.. I suddenly remembered... there was a PAC meeting at the school.... AAAAAAAAHHHHH.... my role there is non-existant... I speak very little, I listen to lots.. and while I am there I daydream of the other tasks that I could be doing instead of doing what I am doing... like barkmulch bagging with the crazed gardening sister.... so, I conveniently forgot that there was a PAC.. I could have called the sis back...but that clearly could have been to my detriment.... I am sure of it... there would have been more backlash from her.. than from the committee... they are now used to my "un-interested ways"... I am sure this is sending a signal that I am no longer interested... surely it must be... I only have one more PAC meeting left... and that is where they take the vote on who gets to be who... I know that I get to be none of them!!!! I am so free.

Duck ... it's her......
I'm am referring to my sister. The streets are not safe when she is not at work or engaged in business that takes her away from stalking me... which apparantley she is quite good at.
Last evening the sis found her way to my driveway... put a trance on me.. and the next thing I knew, we set off for USELESS TASK NIGHT, which we did accomplish some useless tasks, but we had to call it quits early into the night...well for one, to give her a VISA a rest as it was smoking a little, and two; we decided to immediately go over to our mother's house... since we had picked up a bunch of pictures of wicker furniture from Pier One. I had to stop and pause a moment.. just to ask the sis that we should consider calling USELESS TASK NIGHT over since we were heading over to visit the mother... "Hi Mom.... we are out on useless task night, and we picked you as our useless task of the evening..... we thought we would come and visit you"... clearly that would be like putting a pickle in a piece of lemon pie... surely...
(SIDE BAR: The mother of all mothers.... Maxine.. is the best mother in the world..... hence the reason for the pause in changing the evenings activites, and we did tell her of our great discussion regarding this fact...)...
Anyways ... back to the sis. The Sis has a certain way of just showing up, and leading you astray... very quickly.... and, as if in a trance.. you just follow along with her... like earlier...
Earlier in the day when the rain hadn't started falling yet, but it didn't matter that the rain gods were with me later in the day when I really wanted it to fall... but apparantley I prayed to the wrong gods... I forgot to whisper a little prayer to the UMPIRE GODS.... who had the ability to call the baseball game on the account of the pouring rain, but didn't.... clearly I made the wrong decision in the prayer department today.... it's this water thing... it's haunting me... it doesn't matter if it falls from the sky, or the watering can... it's just not working for me!!!!! anyways the sis.... I am about to cross the road, as I walked the streets of PoCo... and there she was... the sis lady stalker in the burgundy van... happily waving at me.... so I make a dash and try and jump in the backseat of her van, as her big big black flatcoated retriever was busy residing in the front seat... but the van door was locked, so Jasper got bumped to the backseat just as the light turned green... and I was in... like a snap... without thinking.. she had nabbed me again... she held me hostage for a while.. doing some more flower and plant buying.. until the VISA started smoking again..... and I knew it was time for me to leave... I had to be strong... she wanted to drive me back to where ever I had left my 15 year old smudgy white SUV... but I already had a game plan at the ready for her... we had made a last stop... and after we had finished... I refused to get back in.. "really... it's OK, I can make it back home..".... I begged to her.... I got off easy... this time... But what I didn't know.. is that she would be back... L A T E R....
WE had made it home... completely soaked from the wonderful ball game (gag, sputter, choke)... and before I know it... the door quietly clicked shut... GUESS WHO... the sis had arrived back at my home... she was in search of black buckets, or anything that would hold dirt... the sis was very interested in my 2 spare bags of bark mulch.. but I worked hard to divert her attention, and her velcro hands ... I agreed in giving up one of my black plastic buckets, and an empty hanging basket..... since she was already in the motion of unloading all my bamboo stakes from the bucket inside the one she wanted... you have to be one step ahead of this sister stalker... and before you know it... she had just about got me again, and drag me off to Home Depot... but I had to back away... stay away from the van I told myself... just stay back from the burgundy van.... although I did get a peak at the next crop of flowers and plants she is going to have to smuggle home without the b-i-l-husbandman noticing... it was a very close call this evening.
I am in great fear for the AM... she is already making plans....

Once again.. in the knick of time....
Clearly I found my Guitar Music for Small Rooms 2 in a timely fashion… including in that “timely fashion” … were the nice pills that I just took. Well.. they’re not exactly pills.. as in Dr. prescribed, but rather Deanna prescribed … as in B complex… those are my nice spills that I speak highly of. Two of those plus a mega-multivitamin… and others… like Cod Liver Oil CAPSULES.. for those that need to be in the know, and you know who you are (bye bye TMJ!)…. Enough said. Why do I need to take nice pills on a regular Tuesday afternoon…. It has come to my attention this lovely dull but pleasant afternoon as I am meandering around and watering my plants ( ultimately avoiding what should be done, like boring things of vacuuming and cleaning places where messy paws have walked.…) that things are not going well with the watering issue… because I keep swearing at my plants: I mean really,… holy (fill in the blank)…. I just want to water my freaking plants…..!!! Now my question of the hour is… will my plants still grow since I am swearing while watering, rather than speaking pleasantries…are there really rules to this sort of stuff??? The whole problem being that with each attempt at watering.. the water spills to places other than the desired location…… but with a couple of B-complexes downed and the wonderful guitar music played by the GYPSY KINGS ~ FOREVER, and OTTMAR LIEBERT ~ SANTA FE ….. that has cured all of the water woes I seem to be having… it’s this kind of music that sets you in groove to open up those sliding glass doors, and windows, take a deep breath….. paint, create, contemplate, brave new challenges and find that inner peace. This music is clearly not good for accomplishing vacuuming tasks… don’t even try…
neighbours… what neighbours?? Happy Tuesday
In other moments that make me thankful for the "in knick of time" phenomenon is the great hopes that I will begin seeing a great downpouring of rain... like NOW.... because once again... it's baseball night..... since the season was over last, LAST Tuesday and all... why not just play another game ... because we can... HA!.... if the weatherman can just do me this one huge favour... and freaking pour with rain.. I would be most happy...because now that I have taken my happy pills, and have been serenaded by the ultimate in feel good music... I believe that the girl wouldn't have a hope in hell in pissing me off now... but I am certain she will try... just sensing the fact that I am Ms Calmybalmy... and in other knick of time news... I am happy to have found the boys Tae Kwon Do uniform scrunched in his bag... all beautiful and wrinkled for this afternoons class... but... it is in the new old dryer for immediate dewrinkling... WHEW....
Now I'm really off... to collect children and other specimans.....

Kareoke-me
I like music, I certainly can't tell you who sings the good songs of the world... but I like most of what I hear... except crap, oh- I mean wrap..oh, it's rap... really they should have just called it crap and gotten it over with.... anyways.... I had a little birthday shindig to attend last Friday night.. and I will not divulge who it was... that way they can remain ageless in time... I wouldn't want to let people know about the age issue... not that I have something with it.... (HA!)... so anyways.... I arrive at this little place in the country... thank you mapquest for getting me their... a place where I stepped back in time.. and not that far back that I was sitting next to a dinosaur or anything... but just back far enough so that the patrons were entertained with each others kareoke singing abilities... I have to say.. most of it was pretty good... very good actually.
Well, most, which was not including the fellow that was heading for retirement... sorry Mr. Newlyretired.. I hope you have some other activities in-store.. because kareoke certainly will not be your claim to fame.... unless you are singing at "the society for the lost batteries of hearing aids"... I am certain you would be a welcome sight there...
The birthday girl herself got up and sang a tune, so did her son, and lovely husband.. it all sounded great.... then the husband made the mistake of asking me which song I was going to sing.. Pardon me???... hello.... can't you tell by the look of me that the only place that I sing is in the vehicle at the volume level... "higher than the speakers can handle???"....obviously I have cleaned up well on that disguise...
On that note.. the sis has shown up... she has been working so I haven't seen her lately... but she's here now....she must want something... oh... IT'S USELESS TASK NIGHT.. AND THE HUSBAND ISN'T HOME... OMG!!!!

The issue of the tissue...
That's what the problem of the moment was earlier today.. way earlier... as in I should have been out of my bed, but I wasn't.. I was contemplating the need for a tissue, and how I was going to retrieve it, for the worst nose in the world since it likes to be all stuffed up in the morning... at 7:05 to be exact. The phone rang instead.... clearly my issue with the tissue was much smaller than one of the Debbie's with a lake that was accumulating quickly in her basement, because her hot water tanks dam had burst. Me, being the good and useless friend down the road had to tell her to call the woman who knows everything across the street... well, actually I looked out the window and saw both cars in the woman who knows everything driveway and told her that the policeman husband was home, but may be sleeping... and believe that.. he was, so the woman that knows everything told Mrs. Lakemaker how to stop the bad happenings that were going on in her basement.... it's a good thing that we have a woman that knows everything in the neighbourhood...
Full Swing
Large and lanky, black and goofy.... I'm sure it's a road runner!... No, it's none other than a black bear. That is what I have witnessed up along the long windy road which leads you into the territory of the bears.
I have been so fortunate the last three days ... to see the same bear (I'm going with appearance and behaviour here) run across the road in pretty much the same location each day. The past number of days I have had the ultimate luck in spotting a bear each time I enter the "bear zone".. and blueberry season hasn't even arrived yet.
Yet on the other hand, we were fortunate enough not to encounter a bear the other day when we ended up walking around the trails of the bear zone, I was ultimately happy with that as well.
The park people are now cutting the 3 foot high grass in some of the fields... the bears are much easier to spot this way, although they can not hide in the grass any longer...
As soon as I can snap up a photo of some of the bears in action, I'll plop them on here... although the goofy bear gave me lots of action the other day... so much that I did get a picture of him... but he was busy standing and running, and stopping and eating... that it wasn't possible to catch him.....without a blur. I decided to enjoy just watching him instead... from the safe distance of the vehicle.

Crack, Fou - lit
That's the sound that I have listened to for the past couple of months. What is that mysterious sound... you more than likely have heard it, or created it, or recall such a sound. Beware, it is only a sound that you might find at a ballpark...What is that sound you ask... Something that is prefaced with this request:
Please pass me the spitz. Yes, I would like a huge handful of them, where I will sit and put each little sunflower seed in my mouth, and then lean over and spit them next to me, and in front of you, or inside one of the guys baseball cap. Yes, that is what I will do... and feel good about it too. That is what this ball season has all been about. How many bags of spitz did I actually go through: NONE.
There have been indepth conversations about the number of bags of spitz that have been purchased this ball season. That to me equates to how much SPIT people left all over the grounds of the ballparks across the big City of PoCo. Attractive, I wonder if the webmasters have that as an attraction for our fine city..... " Don't worry about all the spit.... it's acceptable here..."
Not to worry, I find it more humorous than dangerous... this spitz thing is an interesting mindset where you take oridnary individuals, give them grass, lawnchairs, and a little league ballgame, and watch how people start spitting and littering, and find nothing wrong with that.
I am fine with it... really, there is nothing wrong with it... crack, fou-lit.

Oh please....
Make it stop... I beg of anyone... MAKE IT STOP!!!!!
Those are just a few of the words that travel through my head at any given moment during THE LAST ballgame of this season... or so that was the thought from Tuesdays ballgame, that was supposed to be THE LAST...... and now we are still here Thursday... and the pleading is getting louder.. it's almost coming out of my head now.. I am sure I have a big bubble over my head.. and now what do I find out..... we still have another PRACTICE and GAME.... coming up this Sunday and Tuesday.. .why do these people keep telling me that ball is over.. and it's not. THE LYING HAS TO STOP!!!

thinking green....
It's a beautiful day out... absolutely lovely. A sky filled with deep dark scurrying clouds, with just enough white ones to keep all the blue above them well hidden. There's just enough wind to keep you cool but not cold. It's the kind of day that the kids can go outside at lunch time and run wild... but never feel the heat. It also is the kind of day that I do not have to stop and get a slurpee for those that will die from heat exhaustion before we walk through our front doors.
More importantly... this is the kind of day that keeps those grass seeds germanating lickity-split, and wake them from their sleeping state so they can grow all over my bare patches across the front lawn. I love this day.
It's also great if you can get a pair of Clark's on sale... for a really great price... and I wasn't even shoe shopping.... that's double love.
Speaking of love... the sweetness princess Pipenza doll informed me last night that I hate her. (As she stared out her bedroom window and watched the little dynamo across the street ride her bike for all of 4.37 minutes...before she was called inside) Newsflash... The Pip is so right... I didn't even know that she had caught onto the gig. Drats... now I am going to have to take a different approach to raising her... other than the pure hate that pours from me. I know.. I am going to take away her vegtables and her vitamins.... that'll show her!

Colour me beautiful...but make it stay.
I can only wish that upon myself.... this very moment is colour mismanagement madness. Once again I am colouring my hair for a temporary bout of short term brown haired happiness.... it will all be gone the day after tomorrow. I have had a momentary thought... the reason that I/WE have German Shepherds (the sable Cicely version... refer to the flickr in the sidebar the only one with four legs instead of two)..... is that I identify with the hair thing that they have going on...it's all varying shades of colour magic... and it works. I am going with that same idea... except I'm the human concept.
OH, and for those with the inquiring minds, or sarcastic wit... this is permanent haircolour that I dump on this head of non-compliant hair... it just chooses not to be.

And the answer is:
Miss Pipenza was quite content to have me sing "Happy-half-a-year" over and over again to her. She then so brilliantly stated that she thought I was saying "Happy-half-a-year"to her. She will be graduating from Grade Two hopefully at the end of the month, although I am not sure if it's from an english speaking school.
The Boy on the other hand was wise to my words, and quick with his own wit: "That means that I am ten and a half... will the aging ever stop??!" he cried out. Then... he sang the Happy Birthday, but with the new words in the basic birthday song... and then a snapped up catchy version including some kind of dance.
I hope I haven't damaged them too severly.

Bless me.
Happy-half-a-year. Say it quickly, and you will be blessing yourself too. But if you wish, you can bless your self for other reasons to... I will now go and attempt to wake the sleeping children... with this very saying.... I will record the respones... and I am certain they will not be blessing me.. I already sneeeze enough with no bless me's.

Tomorrow
Tomorrow should be my lucky day..... I already have a list of answers for all those WHYS out there. Keep up...
- My left palm is itchy... itchy itchy itchy.... if I go on memory rather than research.. I am sure that itchy palms bring money.. loads of it.. the line starts to the left.
- My right palm is trying to get in on the act of the itchiness. It's trying to be itchy... instead it's just annoying me.
- My ring finger is itchy.. so I am temporarily unmarried at the moment... I have removed the wedding ring from my finger.... that has brought a smile to my Mr. Husbandman's face.. and the would be criminals.. if they knew where to find the well hidden ring.
- Bags of mushroom manure will find it's way to my little homestead again.. happy homecoming!
- I am uncertain if I should clear out my fridge, or clean out my fridge... I will sleep on that one.
- The digital camera has sat silent for a while.. there will be subjects needing to be found at some point... and preserved here for long lasting memories... all going well that is.
- I am hoping that the Pip will be happy with peanut butter toast tomorrow morning, as she was this morning... because it made her very happy... and there was complete silence other than the crunching that echoed from the den. Happiness twice in a row.. almost unheard of... so I will be trying my luck on that one.
- Perhaps the magic hair colouring fairy will wave her colouring gel on my hair early in the am... so that way I will not have to walk around another moment with a quad-coloured-hair-don't. My hair has been like this for a couple of days (liar liar pants on fire!!!!) now... and I can't seem to stop it.
- I am hoping that tomorrow I will make the call that I really do not know what happened to the $264.00 cheque from the Stroke Association went... from November 2004.
- I know that tomorrow the husbandman will not try and cut the grass.. because I have already cut it today, AND informed him that there is once again grass seed on the front lawn...and he will be dead if he dares to cut it again without a signed consent form.
- I am hoping to make a connection with the piano teacher... because I am not sure what is meant by the term "F=2 bars=strwber pie + Blub pie +mince meat tart". I am not sure if this is a new billing method, or I am supposed to do her grocery shopping.
- The sister is back to work tomorrow... so I know she wont be stalking me, or wandering of my wearabouts..... or holding me hostage in her burgandy van.
- It is Pip's gymnastics day... where once again she will attempt to land a cartwheel, or, better yet even do a cart wheel... we are running out of days to accomplish this great goal.. if only she was in on that fact... I was just kind of hoping that after 10 months of gymnastics she would be able to at least do a cart wheel... although I have seen her success in standing on one leg for 10 seconds... and landing that one. If she's not careful... the new next nickname could be Gidget....
- OH... and the poisonous tree kicking event is still holding strong... if only the Pipster had touched the tree with her hands... then our nail biting issues would be solved. But, as of late... she has stopping chewing her toenails because apparantley she kicked a poisonous tree, and that poision stays on your toes for life... as told to her by Mr. Husbandman. I'm going with that thought... although one of her friends in her class, who happens to be even taller than my Pip, told her that she had the same problem, but that this girls mother soaked her feet in vinegar, and that got rid of the problem. For now, I am hiding the salad dressing, pickles and the vinegar container... in case the Pip is willing to cure herself of her poisonous toes.... if only the little blondy knew the real details.
- Tonight was the boys last ballgame, but that got rained out. Not that there was actual rain, in fact it would have been a lovely cool evening for a ballgame... it rained all afternoon, until 6:15, then quit... so why have a ballgame then. So, on that very thought the last game will be Thursday.. which is a make-up game from the beginning of the season. So, now the last game will be on Tuesday next week to make up tonight's game that didn't get played because it was rained out, but didn't actually rain... well it rained earlier in the day, which made me the grass growing lady happy.... except for the baseball people, who didn't want rain on their grass at all.
- Tomorrow I am certain that I will not come up with 16 new facts for Thursday... I am certain... but then I could begin to make things up.. .. now I know I could do that.
Tails and tales....
The first tail of the day is of the furriest, silliest and alive member of the family. We have other things that are furry and silly, but are not alive but rather considered inanimate, but wished to be alive... Just to clarify... Anyways..
Little Miss Ellpee, still to be crowned with Queenly Royal Status, (as the late Cicely rightly held for her entire visit on this earth) .... because we are awaiting her arrival showing us that clearly she can rule as a Queen... Which I believe she has taken the long road to get to... So my optimism is starting to fade.... But I have moments of hope when she sits back and looks regal gazing over her lands... But anyways... While in the front yard... She clearly has issues. I attached her to her long rope and plunked her in the front yard. The neighbour fellow came over to visit her, and she sits, ears back, her tail stiff as a dog's tail can be... And I wait in horror... Is that look on her face one of terror or terribly happy to see someone. Her furry faced emotions clearly can not be read by her loyal subjects. In the end, she was extatic to see the neighbour fellow, she even nervously rolled over on her side to let him give her a pat. Once again her Queenly status is still on hold due to the fact that she runs and hides behind me once the patting from the neighbour is over... I am thinking that the only Queen in this household is the one in waiting.... A.K.A. Pip. This information shall remain a secret.
IN other tales of the day... The kids and I were driving along the other day... And we were speaking of our now departed German Shepherd Cicely ( a dog with many nick-names, and she answered to all of them... Like Prance) taking up residence in heaven... Except that it is no longer heaven that dogs go to... And they do not walk through pearly gates... Since her arrival to the great place, it has now been renamed to PRANCELAND, and the entry gates are now a lovely shade of tennis ball green.
While I am speaking of last week... And the only time I was not traveling with my lovely digital, was the camera catching event that my almost tall as some his teachers son who stole home twice in the same inning... But only one run counted.. Which was the winning run... Which let the team win it's very first game, at the very end of the season.. Fine drama for a hot evening, that's for sure! The first time around was only a practice run in sliding, as a forced play drove the young son home on a fly ball that went as high in the air as it could, only to land 2 feet in front of the plate, then the other team panicking and throwing the ball... The young ump first called safe, then swiftly changed his mind and called it a fowl ball. It was more of a fowl call than a fowl ball.. But they are young umps, learning the business of safes, outs, and fowls... The second attempt for a run home was accurately called as safe, as the boy slid beneath the tag at home plate... As the ball then bounded from the catchers mit... Everybody's heart skipped a beat at that moment. Our excited team met the others in their dug-out... How kind of them to save the "losers" a trip. The coach called the eager beavers back to the plate.. A nice moment really... When sometimes winning can be everything.
In other tales of lifeliness... The sister tried her best to somehow go out on our designated "useless task night".. As I like to refer to it. It just didn't happen... "So where is Mr. Husbandman anyways?"... She inquires. "I have no idea... Anywhere... " I answer. She waits... We have a look around my backyard, and my front yard, and I have no side yard so we make our way over to the neighbour lady who is now paranoid because I haven't been answering my phone.. But I didn't know that she had been calling to even answer my phone... And we continue to wait for the husbandman to arrive. I tried to will the man home, but that again prooved useless... it was time.. I had to make the call.. "So where exactly are you?"... I asked him... He gives me the grim details... Ok.. See you when you arrive... I shake my head NO to my sister... "Tonight is simply not the night for useless tasks as we would like... You will have to go it alone.. If you can.. " I say to her.... She eventually left, and I wished her luck... I didn't know where the van would take her.. If she would be able to go at all... She didn't even have her cell.. We could of had a play by play if necessary... But then.... This morning, a new day before us, many adventures ahead of me... My day off from life... And who shows up on my door step.... The sister... She was back... With new adventures to be planted into my day.... The first stop was Triple Tree Nursery.. And then there was no looking back from there.....I was hooked, and really, held captive until she dropped me in my driveway, in the rain... Where I then proceeded to cut the front lawn.

And then there was no looking back from there.....I was hooked, and really, held captive until she dropped me in my driveway, in the rain... Where I then proceeded to cut the front lawn.

It's CC & Q
I'm all about perfection in the kitchen.... I am up there on the lists that make the big lists... as in lists of who not to visit for dinner ... that's the big list!
So.. tonights menu will be.. cooked carrots, home made quiche and banana milkshakes... because the bananas have dots now, and are clearly useless for any form of lunch kit activities.
I say brilliant.
Now.. onto other brilliant details from today. Earlier... while at my group... we were sitting in this rather large "Lounge" as it is called. Normally we play Bocce Ball for about 45 minutes and then the group members leave for home. Today, things had to change, as we only had 3 people left to play Bocce... so we were having a lovely conversation in this large lounge. Along came one lady, and then another younger lady who breezed right past us... as if the 4 of us were ghosts... sometimes the next group comes in early, and finds theirs chairs, and put their choir books down.. that sort of stuff. These two ladies failed on all accounts and started banging out a classical piece of music on the piano. All was good.. except that we were having a conversation in this large lounge... and now they were infringing on our conversation by pianoing a duet together. It was nice to listen to the first two times... but when it continued on for another 10 times.. it got a bit hard to take on the ears.. and we all left.... no conversing, because now we all had our hands over our ears. Thanks very much choir director lady and her trusty assistant.. I am glad to know that I am a ghost yet again.
I have to say... it's good manners that got me into this, so it's my fault that the small group that we had got pushed out...I'm stupidly nice! I will practice being evilly nice tomorrow... I should have taken lessons from our evil Prance... but since she's gone one dimensional... I'm at a loss.
Must go think... and I thought the dinner time thought process was hard... man!

It's 5 oclock...
and what are you having for dinner?
.... I am still in the reality phase that I have to actually perform such a feat... so I am unsure as to what the final outcome will be. I can tell you that my friends down the street are having wonderful leftovers, from the wonderful dinner that we had with them last night. I think I will hightale it to the wonderful place where she found the wonderful meat.. I know it would put a smile on the girls face if I came home with a pack of that! Except not right now... right now I have to create miracles with what I can find in this little house.. hopefully the finding will be narrowed down to the kitchen only...
I could try and create something that everyone would like... but that too, would be far too difficult. Speaking of difficult... I believe that the KRAFT cupboard is calling me! HA!
Oh brother... foot steps.. the pounding kind.. I better think double speed now....."She's back!"

An eyebrow raised.
I am sitting here in complete silence, taking into account that we have to hear the hum of the computer and the refridgerator.... I will forgive those autonomic noises, as I am used to their white noise. But, what I am not used to is the silence that comes with a dull grey sky.
The sky has been brilliant blue the last number of days, and with that blue sky there is the chatter of birds continuously. When I open up the sliding glass door, if the idiot dogs are not barking.. (not my idiot dogs! I don't have idiot dogs... I have the ninny catdog type but don't provoke her, her jaws can do damage (not to humans, but to other furry four-legged beasts that she is afraid of)... as well, I need to lose the plural, as I only have one dog now, but in my mind I still travel with two... only because the first evil queen sits perched on my desktop staring back me for as long as the computer screen doesn't go to the screen saver... sorry Prance.. you and your evil ways have gone one dimensional.... ) anyways... the birds and the silence....
Anyways... I am wondering what's up. When it stops raining around these parts... I can always tell, because the birds start to chime up...but it's cloudy when this happens.... So now, I am wondering what's up with the silence of the birds... as it is cloudy now... wait a minute, I just noticed something.. I need to open the door to hear the birds. I get it now. Cool weather means closed doors which means silence from the outside. Hot weather means open doors which means sounds drift indoors. I am so getting it now.
Although I am not wrong in feeling that the world is quieter when the brilliant blue sky has been defeated by the slick grey clouds. Perhaps there is a momentary silence as the animal world braces for the mysteries that Mother Nature has in store... who knows.

Area 51
Without realizing it earlier tonight we entered a restricted zone. A place where conversations took place, but can never be repeated. The details of tonight's evening will be not documented here, but rather, will forever be in a rewind mode for as long as my memory can hold out. I have about 4 minutes of play time in my head before the disk fills up... So I don't have much to work with here.
Details will be kept to a minimum due to the sensitive material that I will not speak of... Although there were many hilights to the evening, they will be delivered in random order to confuse those that may not already be confused.
Men are men are men. That can not be changed.. as much as the woman folk wish for them to change, they wont. Their plans are not the best plans, but they will believe that their plans are the best plans... Even if the woman folk will not hear of whatever plans they have been planning.
The Mr. Husbandman has learned some new talk while out... he won't be going back any time soon... Too much influence in that Area 51.
It seems that many people on our street will have no place to live some place soon due to all the renovation that people are undertaking at the present time... I believe if we pool the resources, it will be a communal living headquarters taking place here... where we swap food people.. Just food.... Sick-os!
I will just say that the meal was wonderful... and the Lady Pip enjoyed herself very much... Especially the shrimp and pork souvlaki.... One day I will scan her little book that she wrote all about meat... It's just a little book, but it gives some insight into what really makes that girl happy.
One of the guests were placed between the two younger guests.. to keep peace while in the area 51 location, also considered the table. Speaking of peace at the table the two younger guests that belong to me.. Must be very comfortable with these people.. because I had to remind the younger guests that belong to me.. to please be quiet... If only for a moment... P-O-L-E-A-S-E!!!!!
That's going to have to be it.. I can not speak of more.. for fear of myself, and the people that belong with me.... Area 51 was a very safe place to visit, but highly influential.... I walked away learning many things this evening... Hopefully the Mr. Husbandman will not have observed the interactions of those that inhabit the Area 51..... Although when we arrived home he said he had learned a few things.... Damn... Damn that invite to Area 51... we were much safer last week entranced by the television... If only we could have found the remote....
I've been had!!!!

I've been had!!!!
Second time around
We are going to try this again... we are going over to another friends place for dinner tonight. Very nice. I asked if a big screen TV was included in the deal... because if it wasn't, then I wasn't coming. It's that simple... you invite people over, and then turn on the TV, that way you don't have to do any kind of conversation, and can sit brain dead in front of the sports channel. Of course this doesn't include looking on the computer at things.. because that can be exciting! I am wondering if the weather is going to hold out... that could be a repeat from last week... although a little rain after our wicked summer heated blast wouldn't be a bad thing right about now.. (oh me the selfish water sucking fiend that I am wanting so I can continue to grow blades of deep dark green!!)
Now.. in an after thought about the previous post which I don't feel like editing... I am here to state I am so thankful for Mr. Husbandman arriving home... eventually.... EVENTUALLY... I repeat.. only because I ran into some trouble with the pressure washer. It appeared to have a temper tantrum.... as only inanomate things can. SO... I had to wait until the man that knows the most about machines came home... and with one magical pull of the cord.. it rumbled back to life. Thankfully. I knew I hadn't done anything wrong, or bad or neglectfu, I didn't even kick itl... but it was beginning to make me feel that extreme dread that I had. For that, I am done using the lovely machine. I fear it may retaliate... and then I will really have to kick it!
Well, I best go do things that I collect money for, rather than laughs.... that will buy me nothing.

Where exactly...
did that trail take me anyways? Yes, I have been wondering that myself. I can swear that I just left this space only moments ago... and here it is Sunday morning... and I am just emerging.
I am back on the weekend trail of working adventures.. which there are many to be had.. but nothing exciting to speak of. Unless of coarse I begin to make things up.... which wouldn't be too far fetched anyways.
My hands are still reeling from Fridays feast of pressure washing. I think I was out on my ugly but now clean back deck for about 4 1/2 hours of a continuous "erring... but with a growl".... hopefully the people that live around me will forget the sound fast. It wont matter to me... I can't hear anymore. My hands wont forget.... interestingly I am very left handed... but not so after the washing event.. so I have decided. It was my right hand that had to hold the magic wand for about 4 of the 4 1/2 hours... if the left hand was called in for assistance... it was only for a momentary break. It seemed that the wand just gravitated back to the right hand... with a will of it's own. So now today... it's still stiff. But I would venture to say a happy stiff.... (see there is evidence that you can be a happy stiff!).. because I now have a clean but still ugly back deck... including the big two steps to get outside which are pressure treated wood... they're pressure treated alright... I obsessively scoured them back and forth until I realized that I still had a whole deck to clean....
I will thank my lovely neighbour across the street for using his god-given brain, as well as continue to be wonderfully handsome.... clearly some days those two things do not come as a combination. He smiled and waved while he cut his front grass, and, as he saw me cleaning out the side of my house with my hard working right hand... his daughter and The Pip were happily and busily playing in my backyard.. which was all good. But then along came the child that continues to phone 8 times in a row to see if the girl from across the street can play... yikes for that!... Now, normally the wonderful and handsome man from across the street points in the direction that his daughter can be found... so of course he was know longer wonderful and handsome when I saw her heading in his direction... "oh god, oh god.. don't you dare... I started thinking in my head......"... and miraculously there is a God.. the little girl turned, looked at me... and walked back home again... I had been saved. Well, actually the world had been saved with that one event... because I am sure that you have heard those two girls scrapping from all thirteen and three quarters of the world's corners. I am sure!
That is all for this moment.. I am at work, doing work things. Well... kind of, not exactly.. until I sign off from here, which will be now.

Stat like
Ok.. this has to be at mock speed.... it's a beautiful evening.. the boys are glued to lost, the girl is just plain sticky.. and needs to be dunked in the tub... and I have got my walking runners on. All going well I can be out of here in under 5 minutes ..... all going well... I SAY!!!!
We have already been to see the bears, where we caught glimpse of a rather small one waltzing about in the tall grass. I guess it should be by itself... who knows. On that thought.. I will follow the bears lead and take myself out for a walk... but if I happen to see the neighbours.. I am not sure how far I will get!
Back later.... for the tales of the trails.

This is it people the Week-end Cat Big Cup. This was a 3 day event attended by the newest of cat competitors living in the house this weekend, there were also some canines included in the competition, but they clearly were not the best contenders this week-end as they came in third place every time.. poor canine contenders perhaps they will have better luck next year if they are invited back to the Cat Big cup event. There was a special appearance on the round hat box made by Clifford and his dog friends, including Emily-Elizabeth who took time out from her own show to be a part of the events. The trophies were handed out by the young lady on the left who was dressed in a beautiful blue gown for the weekend events. The grand cup and 1000 thousand dollars went to the white cats on the left.. hopefully next year there will be bigger sponsers for this great event.. and perhaps they will be located in the newly renovated kitchen....but they can only hope.
In other thoughts of what I should do today:
- With that one cup of coffee I have entered back into reality.
- Get the girl to eat a banana.... my friend sent me a list of reasons why it's good to eat bananas... I think it was from the Banana Growers Union... and late one Friday night they found out that the consumption of bananas had gone down by a couple trillion... so they thought up some amazing facts to boost the banana world-wide consumption... and, since it all makes sense to me what the B.G. Union came up with... I am trying to get the girl to peel and eat.. so far she has declined rather loudly.. but has demanded a cup up tea with honey and sugar added to it.
- I have obliged her tea request... while she happily sips and watches "The Princess Diaries".
- I should go and rent a pressure washer.. somehow I know that the hose is not going to do the job that I want to see done...
- The girls room is still in great need of some attention... and not from her.. she has dangerous intentions.
- Buy more grass seed, this item should be stocked next to milk in the grocery store... that is how much of a regular purchase it is for me.
- I probably should water all the flowers that I planted yesterday... with the weather I had my own personal watering can... but now it seems to have dried up. Figures.
- I need to find a place to put my purple scrapbooking box... I have no room left on my shelves in the laundry room... and that has me once again thinking about the non-shed in the back yard.
- If I could put the thatcher thingy on the lawn mower I would power thatch the back lawn.. and then I could dump a bunch of sand in the big long crevice that arrived when the willow tree fell.
- I am going to have to respray where the morning glory is growing.. because it brings me no morning glory to see it growing. NONE.
- ANNNDDD... I wonder what the chances are of cleaning/tidying this house on this day. I wont hold out any personal bets on that one...

The boys.
Earlier today... things were going on in my backyard.... like three boys... living in my backyard. They were an improv comedy act... with no audience ... except myself.. the flower planting lady. At one point .. one of the boys starts choking badly on a cookie... and within a heartbeat... the one boy says to other... "if you are done with that cookie, can I have it"... as the child is blue in the face, BUT CHOKING, HEAVILY. Luckily he lived.
Then, once again while my back is turned... they tie my boy up.. with all of the girls skipping ropes. "Unless you two are willing to surrender your bank accounts for dental work that will be required after my boy loses his front teeth.. you best untie him"... I say.
Later I find them with all of their hands tied up... bouncing on the trampoline. Luckily we have padded posts.
The sun came out for a short time today.. just to let us know that it is still around these parts. The water guns came out in full force... 3 boys, 3 waterguns, 2 weaponless girls on a trampoline. That was pleasant to listen to... believe me on that one.
Careful where you walk... the skipping ropes got turned into lazers.. and those that walked freely throughout the backyard.. took their life in their own hands.. as the ropes where whipped through the air with loving zings.
There are no germs at all when you can continuously pass a harmonica around from boy to boy to boy.. just so they can make themselves some great sounding music... or so they think.
I lost sight of them for quite a while when they walked down the street and jumped across the ditch.. into fort territory. I don't even want to know what goes on there. It's best that I don't. Although they claimed that some pimply teenagers came along and wanted to know their names.. the neighbour boy gave the answer of the answer of "Mysterious Bob", and my boy gave the answer of "I'm his trusty assistent Little Jimmy"... (my boy is half a head taller than his friend Mysterious Bob) .... they left their fort for home...
Only a glimpse into the ongoings of the boy.... I am not sure I want to know the rest.

The Pip project.
This girl of mine... she is into anything crafty. She loves the whole idea of scrapbooking very very much. I am frightened of her though... especially when my back is turned, and she's working on a page, and the pen runs out.. and then it sails across the kitchen. Then of course she's cutting out photos.. and something doesn't go right.... I am scared. I think my next 50% off coupon will be spent on a suit of armour... that way I am hopefully invincable to her momentary madness rages. It is interesting... after her outburst, she usually settles down... but who knows in what direction her rage will fly. Silly little Pipenza..... too bad for the gold sparkle pen that gave out on her half way through her "best printing ever in her life"... that she was working on. Knowing me... I would probably have chucked the pen too.... except not at another human.
The promise...
It was a simple promise. One that seemingly would materialize. I never lost faith in the promise. I held it close to my heart, with some anticipation, and yet a feeling of confidence. This promise would come true. Of all promises to make.. surely this would be the promise to end all promises. I was confident that the promise made, was a promise kept.
The sun shined brightly this afternoon... the first time it has done this in weeks.
Can one Mr. Husbandman build a shed in only 5 hours worth of sunlight that is left this May long weekend... as was the promise that he made... can he... CAN HE.... CAN HE I SAY!!!!!!!! Mr. Husbandman made the promise that he could whip a shed together by this weekend... and what have we got ... we have a tidied and almost rebuilt glass truck ... that is what we have!!!!
I still like him though... because he likes a tidy kitchen... and he's a do-it-yourselfer on that tidy kitchen thing. ... he also does laundry.
Who gives a crap about one lousy promise!...although that shed would look pretty this nice last night of a long weekend... I have to say!

Dog cage.
I now like the fact that we keep a dog in a dog cage. That excuse can be quickly executed in times of diress, especially when you are stuck in someone's home, and needing to make a quick exit. I decided that this would be a very good excuse to leave last night. It worked.
I quite like the people that we visited... but somehow the person that we were visiting seemed to think that having the television on the whole time we were there was socially acceptable. I guess it is, if you are 9. The sports channel played the whole time, never once did it get turned off. I thought when we first got their that it was on just to pass the time, and once we were mingling in the kitchen area, it would be turned off. WRONGO-BONGO. I was very mistaken.
As the evening gathered momentum... I began thinking of excuses for an escape. I am not tolerant of this kind of stuff... but I wasn't going to say... "Turn this crap off".... which, in hind-site probably would have worked. But, on the 3 1/2 minute drive to get to their house we had concluded that it would be Fussy who would be the deciding factor in never being asked back again.... I solidified that decision, by taking mental notes... I won't do that again. EVER.
The next time... IF WE GET TOGETHER.... they can come here... where the TV is saved only for children.
I am happy that our little dog has to sometimes live in a cage... it is ever so handy in making quick exits... and that was put to the test last evening... and just in time for Mr. Husbandman to catch the season finale of Desperate Housewives.
EVER.

What do you say to this:
I have had enough of her.
She won't go away, her parents just keep letting her come over.
It's like a bad dream, but in real life.
I feel like I am locked in a torcher chamber.
Is it too soon to ask her to leave.
This is my girl's reaction to her friend that she had had enough of. When my girl is done, she's done. Can you try to be nice I whisper to her. "I'm done being nice, this girl has got to go" she declared. My girl then proceeded to hide in our 1365 square foot home, to see if the friend would forget about her and leave. This didn't work. Eventually it became dinner time.. and the girl got called to go home.
The Pip smiled.

Happy Birthday.
It is Queen Victoria's Birthday today... well not really today, I think it's in June.. but it is celebrated today... and that's good. I was very much looking forward to taking these past three days off from work. It has been very nice. VERY NICE. Although the same can not be said for the weather...but I am still on the verge of complete happiness... just because I have had a break in the routine of life... I have not had to get up and go to work these past three days... I hope this smile continues until the middle of July... which will be the next time I get a weekend off.
In other moments of happiness:
- I have two 50 % of coupons for Micheals, which the girl and I will be using today.
- The kitchen is already clean.... and it wasn't by my hands.
- I had enough cream for coffee... 2 cups of coffee that is!
- Marigolds come back to life when you emerse them in a bucket of rain water.
- I dust less now that the heat has been turned off.
- My girl prooves to have a reasonable head sometimes.
- The boy has moved his musical talents to his harmonica, although he still has the piano requirements before him... of course he doesn't realize that!
- I will not be on-time for anything today, or in a hurry to get someplace.
- Tomorrow, this whole day can be repeated.
- My digital camera batteries are charged.
Doing and Undoing.
The process of undoing is similar to the phrase of "Mr. Unhelpful strikes again"...
The other day I flew outside between rain storms and cut the (ugly) front lawn. Although, when looking at it from a great distance it all looks good. While in the cutting process I didn't use the grass catcher, but rather let the grass fall back on itself, to create the "mulch effect". What I was aiming for was a blanket that comes from nature... so that way when I put down another 10 pounds of grass seed... it would be kept warm and moist from the grass clippings... and waa-laa... the grass would grow. It was a great idea.. I don't know how much time it took for all that precision raking, so that certain spots had the right amount of warmth overtop of the new seeds. Surely this would do it. Surely.
Surely I had to be crazy to not think that Mr. Husbandman would come out and mow the lawn while I wasn't looking. Which is exactly what he did... and the reason why..... because I hadn't cut two small lines over in the left side of the yard... and clearly that had to be cut, along with the rest of the grass.... with the grass catcher... that sucked up all the just getting started grass seed with it.
This scene had absolute horror show qualities... we creep around the corner as we enter into our crescent with the 15 year old smudgy white coloured SUV... and then I start slowly and shaking my head.......NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Both the chicklets are immediately thinking ... "that's it.. this lady is finally bonkers..."..." I just don't believe this...." I start to rattle on.... The boy quickly picks up on my immediate frustration/madness.... "Oh, Oh... Daddy is going to get it.. isn't he..?... I can just tell that he is in trouble.." the boy says as he madly tries to scramble out of the vehicle to spill the beans that his father is close to getting sliced.
"So... did you notice any of the grass seed all over the lawn"... I ask him... "Well... I did notice that you didn't cut that little part over there... which means that you got distracted by doing something else... so I thought I'd finish for you"....he says.....
Well.... this just gives me another reason to enter a garden store... with my handy dandy mastercard.... so it's all good, except for the front lawn... it's still ugly.

Preoccupied
I would say that I am a fairly visual person... if I can't map out instructions and information for processing in my brain... then I map it out on paper so I can sift through the facts. I haven't made the time to write down some of the facts of life over the last couple of days.. so .. instead you get my visualizations through the camera lense... which is alot easier than writing I have to say.
